My Favourite Retro Summer Dresses

Well it seems like summer has finally arrived in Northern Germany too. Thus, it is time for summer dresses! If I had my way it could always be summer since I am made for the tropics. Today I’d like to show you my favourite dresses for summer so far. Admittedly, I just own a few vintage inspired dresses but I hope that I can grow my collection.

First of all, I love The Seamstress of Bloomsbury dresses. In a previous post I’ve already talked about the Lisa-Mae dress and a lightweigth cotton dress with a floral print.

I guess the navy Lisa-Mae dress is a wardrobe staple and a classic 40s inspired shirt dress. The wrap dress is from a former collection of the Seamstress I suppose. I love both dresses because they have a nice fabric and are comfortable to wear in warm weather.

Vintage Summer Dresses

I am also a big fan of Pretty Retro dresses. I have two versatile shirt dresses, a red and a yellow one. These two dresses are suitable not only for summer but also for cooler seasons. Topvintage is always a good place to go when looking for vintage inspired dresses. However, I also like to thrifting and getting dresses secondhand via Ebay, for instance.

Last year I’ve found this lovely 50s style Beverly dress by Heart of Haute at an Oxfam shop. I so much love this dress and the print is just gorgeous.

My vintage dresses are mostly 40s and 50s fashion inspired. Perhaps you’ve already seen my Hell Bunny Yoko swing dress in the post about ‘Impressionist Vintage Spring Outfit‘? I think this is also a fabulous summer dress with amazing colours.

Last but not least, I very much enjoy wearing my Collectif sunflower dress. It couldn’t get more summery no? I so much love the good vibe of  this Collectif Caterina swing dress dress that I’ve got from Inked Fashion.
